Education Program
Health
educators are on staff to meet your non-illness-related health care needs.
The staff provide information to individuals and groups on a wide variety
of wellness issues - alcohol, drugs, sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases,
HIV/AIDS, relationship issues, nutrition, fitness, stress management -
the list is endless.

A
peer education internship (called REACH, which stands
for Real Education About College Health) is guided by the Health Education
Department.

Students are prepared
in class to inform other students about health-related subjects such as
HIV/AIDS, alcohol/substance use and abuse, relationship violence and women's
health. The internship offers 4 credits per semester, for a two-semester
commitment. Contact Bridget McCane for more information at 607.777.2254
or email reach@binghamton.edu.
You
are welcome to call or stop in for information or to schedule a program
anytime during clinic hours. The health educators are available to give
seminars to on- and off-campus students or to meet with you personally
one-on-one.
For
more information, call Health Ed directly at 607.777.2254 or email healthed@binghamton.edu
